John M. Weiskopf is a professor in American University’s SOC (School of Communications) and teaches in their Honors program. He is President of Aeolian Film Group and Dark Productions, Inc., and General Partner of the limited partnership Elder Abuse Film Productions Ltd. He received his MFA in Film Production from UCLA and later taught on UCLA’s extension faculty. He has been an executive producer, producer, director and cinematographer, and appeared as a guest filmmaker on The Oprah Winfrey Show. He has written eleven screenplays for motion pictures of which three were optioned by producers and studios.
